First we have an announcement for a fantastic concert coming up on March 24, 2007 at the Venice Community Center, 326 South Nokomis Avenue, Venice, Florida. It is an All-star tribute concert to Bob Haggart and the first half of the concert will feature Bob’s arrangements of “Porgy and Bess”, and the second half will feature several of Bob’s own compositions.
The All-star musicians will be:

John Allred, Wycliffe Gordon and George Masso - trombones

	Daryl Sherman is well known to one and all. Her dynamic piano playing to her marvelous vocals is always a joy. When Daryl records it is always a special event and no exception here. 	Maria Anadon may be a new to you, but make no mistake, this lady hails from Spain and is thoroughly familiar with the great American Songbook. Here she is backed by the women from Five Play, Sherri Maricle on drums, Anat Cohen on clarinet and tenor, Tomoko Ohno on piano and Noriko Ueda on piano. Expect fireworks with this one!
